The Founder’s Journey

The breakthrough technology behind Teralube was pioneered by Mr. Firoz Musthafa — an IT engineer, automotive enthusiast, and lubrication innovator from Kerala, India.

Driven by an uncompromising pursuit of advanced engine protection and performance optimization, he embarked on one of the region’s most ambitious independent nano-lubrication development programs.

The Story Behind the Innovation

The journey began in 2012, when Mr. Firoz Musthafa experienced repeated maintenance failures in his personal vehicles despite using premium-grade lubricants available in the market.

Refusing to accept conventional explanations, he began dismantling engines and conducting hands-on investigations into internal wear patterns, thermal stress behavior, lubrication breakdown, and real-world operating conditions.

Years of experimentation eventually led to a critical realization:

“Traditional lubricants alone are inherently limited in their ability to provide complete protection under extreme modern operating conditions.”

This discovery became the catalyst for a deeper exploration into nanotechnology-based lubrication systems inspired by aerospace engineering principles.

What followed was years of intensive research involving advanced nanomaterials, imported specialty compounds, extensive field testing, and molecular-level lubrication engineering aimed at protecting mechanical systems where conventional oils begin to fail.

Story of Man Behind Marketing

How can an engine oil additive used in one’s vehicle change the course of one’s life? That is what happened in my life journey.

After completing my B.Com. degree, I first joined the office of V.K.C. Group in Gujarat as an accountant.
Without knowing Hindi at all at that time, I somehow survived a year before I resigned from there and returned home. After that, I worked in many places, went abroad and finally worked in the Kozhikode office of Nesto. An unexpected turning point in my life happened during that time.
From my house at MakkaraParamba to Nesto (my office) in Highlight, it is 49 km, which means I have to travel 98 km daily. I had a Bajaj Pulsar back then. I took good care of my vehicle due to the daily commute. That’s when I heard about an engine oil additive on YouTube. I tried to contact the number given in the description after listening to the great responses in the video, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t connect with them. Finally, I got the number of the owner of the engine oil additive manufacturer, Mr.Firoz Musthafa. I placed an order of the same.
After a few days of waiting, the much-awaited product “Nano Lube” arrived at my home. I soon used it on my bike. The result really shocked me. My bike gave me an unprecedented riding experience that I never dreamt. It was fun to ride. Daily drives became a thrilling experience. After that, I suggested Nano Lube to some of my friends. When they too had the same experience, there was a demand between them. But they all faced the same problem that I did. They couldn’t contact them. Since I have direct contact with Mr.Firoz , my friends started approaching me to procure Nano Lube, so I became the medium for them to order Nano Lube.
Some of my friends questioned why I was providing this service for free when the orders began to come in like this. Why not make it a business?
However, I had little business knowledge at the time. I started selling Nano Lube at a narrow margin unwillingly. I had to travel directly to Ernakulam to pick up the product when the demand rose.
I gradually recognized that marketing is where my heart truly likes.
However, the more time I allocated to this, the less I was able to concentrate on my accounting duties. I had no choice but to resign from my post. My friends and family initially opposed my choice strongly. However, I continued on with the inspiration of Paulo Coulho’s words that if we want anything so adamantly, the entire world will facilitate our achievement. Even the creator of Nano Lube, Mr. Firoz said that only his Saturdays and Sundays were dedicated for Nano Lube. But I left my work against all odds and went right to Mr.Firoz. Then they assigned me to work there as a coordinator for sales and services.

On the company phone that day, there were roughly 24 000 unattended enquiries. It was my responsibility to get in touch with each and every one of them. To reach every member during COVID, it took around a year and a half. Distribution started by focusing on just one area when COVID was finished. Once Perinthalmanna Taluk enterprise was successful, Malappuram District as a whole was acquired.

Later, Kozhikode also gradually joined. A Godown was established in my village and two persons team were engaged to supply it through courier when the product began to be sold off in this manner. Amazon was used to initiate sales as well. Nano Lube began to travel both inside and outside of Kerala and even outside of India. Mr. Firoz meanwhile, quit his job and committed himself full time to Nano Lube research & development.
Numerous challenges were faced due to the expansion. Because of the product’s low profit margin, several workshops rejected it without even considering what Nano lube is, they chose to ignore it. The only way Nano Lube has expanded over the years has been through positive customer feedback. We achieved more than we had anticipated when we all worked on this project full-time. I didn’t have much knowledge of how cars worked because I was a B.Com graduate. I took my time preparing to bring the merchandise to the workshops and learning technical bits directly from Mr. Firoz. Now, I’m pretty familiar with how cars operate.

Today, Nano Lube has many customers.
In light of my experience, when all the customers give good comments and when I hear the appreciations that cross the sea, I understand today that if our wishes are true, the whole world will stand with us. Nano lube is a great truth discovered by Mr. Firoz.
